Why Avon? Part One

Posted by: yemonja on: May 6, 2009

I’m sure you want to know why I’m on here promoting Avon, but let me start by telling you what I’m not doing.

I am not:

  • trying to get you to sell Avon
  • trying to make you buy products you don’t need
  • trying to make you buy products you won’t use
  • trying to make you buy products that don’t work (at least for me!)

And if any of these things happens to happen, my bad…;-)

New and Improved Face

Posted by: yemonja on: May 6, 2009

My History:

  • average teen acne
  • minor early adult acne with random severe breakouts
  • awful “non-early” adult acne, hyperpigmentation, increasing Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra

My skin issues have severely affected my self-esteem for a couple of years.

Tried:

  • Cocoa butter ( Good Ole Black medicine! LOL)
  • Isopropyl Alcohol (when all else fails)
  • Retin A, combined with oral antibiotic (early adulthood.  this did work for me, peeled the skin massively, originally)
  • Neutrogena (everybody else says they use it)
  • Noxema (at least it feels good)
  • Dove soap (maybe I needed ph-balancing)
  • Mary Kay system (mommy made me do it!)

Finale:

Clearskin by Avon. (This product has salicylic acid.)

I have officially been using it for 31 days.  At first, skeptical.

Day 3– My skin had re-texturized.  Smooth.  (that’s the action of the cleanser)
Day 7– Skin brighter (that’s the work of the cleansing/toner pads)
Day 10– Less acne
Day 14– A new me.  I actually started back wearing a little make-up:  Mascara!
3rd wk– I actually stepped out of the house with a smile, lip gloss and mascara
4th wk– Very pleased, started ordering make-up!  I do get pimples still. I try to zap them with the Clearskin Immediate Response Spot Treatment (not in the system).

Please try the 3-Step Clearskin Professional Acne Treatment System by Avon.  Order from me now while the trial size is $9.99, and free shipping for Mother’s Day!!
